The UNFP also unveiled the league’s symbolic team, which includes Dembélé, Hakimi, Pacho, Mendes, Vitinha (all from PSG), Risser, Sarr, Sangaré, Thauvin (all from Lens), and Tolisso (Lyon).
In addition, Didier Drogba received the Fondaction du Football Citizen Player Trophy “for his commitment to peace and support of numerous initiatives in Africa.” The former Ivory Coast striker previously played for Marseille, Guingamp, and Le Mans in France.
