The Arizona Cardinals have taken significant steps to bolster their offensive line this offseason. They signed guard Isaac Seumalo, tackles Elijah Wilkinson and Oli Udoh, and selected guard Chase Bisontis in the second round of the draft.
According to ESPN’s Mike Clay, these upgrades should elevate the Cardinals’ starting offensive line to an above-average level. Using a composite of metrics from various sources, Clay assigned grades to each player and ranked the unit 15th overall. He views rookie Bisontis and Wilkinson—who started every game at right tackle for the Atlanta Falcons last season—as below-average starters. However, the rest of the line, including Paris Johnson, Seumalo, and Hjalte Froholdt, is considered above average.
If the line stays healthy and improves, combined with new additions like running backs Tyler Allgeier and Jeremiyah Love to strengthen the ground game, along with returning weapons Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison, and Michael Wilson, the Cardinals’ offense could become highly productive—provided they receive at least above-average quarterback play.
