After Henan FC’s 0-3 defeat to Chengdu Rongcheng in the 11th round of the Chinese Super League, some Henan supporters left graffiti in Chengdu along with taunting messages aimed at the Chengdu Knife-Edge Supporters’ Club. The graffiti has since been removed by the Chengdu fan group.

The graffiti included slogans such as “Cowardly Knife-Edge is Here,” “Knife-Edge Red Oxen and Horses,” “Give Us Back Sheffield United,” and “Three-Surnamed Servant AMF.” In the artwork, Henan fans depicted the Chengdu Knife-Edge groups—122, Madman, and Zone Z—as a dog. This was in retaliation for last season’s incident when, after a home match against Chengdu, the face of former Henan club president Hu Baosen was defaced with red paint, and his microphone was altered to read “Chengdu Xiongqi.” Additionally, the graffiti from last season included the tag “122 BRIG,” which is the name of a subgroup within the Chengdu Red Knife-Edge fan club.
