Tuesday night’s Champions League semifinal victory over Bayern Munich was more than just a key result for Paris Saint-Germain—it also marked Luis Enrique’s 50th win in the competition, achieved in just 77 matches. The 55-year-old Spanish coach now holds the record for the fastest coach to reach that milestone, overtaking his compatriot Pep Guardiola, who required 82 games.
Enrique made his Champions League debut in 2014 with FC Barcelona, recording 24 victories there. With PSG, he has added 26 more. He has won the tournament once with each club.
The top ten features several iconic managers, with Guardiola now in second place and former Barcelona boss Louis van Gaal completing the top three. Jürgen Klopp, Sir Alex Ferguson, and José Mourinho also rank among the fastest, though each needed significantly more games than Enrique to reach 50 wins.
